We were thrilled to invite colleagues across Queensland engaged in women’s health research or affiliated with dedicated organisations to share their expertise and insights to help identify key knowledge gaps in Women’s Health Research within Queensland.

The primary objective of this year's gathering was to spotlight the new Women’s and Girls Health Strategy for QLD and to pinpoint areas where research, interventions, and changes in clinical practice were imperative.

We aimed to enhance research endeavours and professional growth in the realm of Women’s Health in Queensland. The core activities of the QLD Women’s Health Forum encompassed:

  • Discussing the QLD Women’s and Girls Health Strategy concerning gaps in health care, areas needed for further evidence and research, and approaches organisations would take to address the strategy.

  • Facilitating networking and collaboration to bolster efforts to improve women’s health on a large scale, including nationally.

  • Igniting collaborative research, translation, and impact in QLD and on a national level within the priority areas of the Women’s and Girls Health Strategy.

Thank you for participating and contributing to advancing Women’s Health Research in Queensland. The forum was a great success, and we look forward to welcoming you again in 2026.
